Nirbhaya rape convict Akshay Kumar Singh files curative petition in SC

The hanging of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang-rape murder case is unlikely to happen as Akshay Kumar Singh, one of the four convicts in the case has filed a curative petition in Supreme Court against his execution on Tuesday. The apex court has asked Tihar Jail authorities what is the date sessions court has decided upon for the execution of the convicts and if a death warrant has been issued.
