Tihar Jail prepares new gallows to hang all 4 convicts of Nirbhaya rape-murder case together

The Tihar Jail authorities in Delhi are preparing for the hanging of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya murder-rape case. The authorities have prepared a new gallows frame which would allow for all four convicts to be hung together. After the hanging, Tihar will become the first prison in the country to hang four accused simultaneously. A JCB machine was brought into the prison premises for the completion of the task.
