After HC, EC expresses no objection on release of PM Modi biopic

The release of 'PM Narendra Modi' has been a controversial topic ahead of the Lok Sabha elections as the opposition claimed that it violated Model Code of Conduct. After the Mumbai High Court rejected the PIL, the complaint was made with the Election Commission, who as well expressed no objections. It said that the CBFC had given clearance for the release. "We don't have any role in deciding release date," it said.
