Since the release of 'Kabir Singh,' the movie has bagged mixed reviews, but even after that, the film has done well at the box office. The film was earning well when a problem landed in its bag as a doctor filed a case against it and demanded to stop its screening. The complainant doctor said that the Shahid Kapoor's role as the doctor had put their image in a negative light. He has written to police and CBFC citing concerns.
