After the Supreme Court order on Wednesday, Sushant Singh Rajput's family issued a statement thanking their well-wishers, media and the actor's fans for their support. The apex court today directed the CBI to investigate the case. The Rajputs also thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that the "development has reaffirmed their faith in India as a robust democracy."
