7-year-old astronomer discovers seven asteroids for NASA

Nicole Oliviera, a Brazilian 7-year-old who discovered 7 asteroids, has been crowned the world's youngest astronomer. Nicole's interest in space and astronomy began when she was just two years old. She participated in the 'Asteroid Hunt' citizen science initiative, which is organized by the International Astronomical Search Collaboration and involves NASA, and discovered seven asteroids, much to the joy of the competition committee.
