86% of active Covid19 cases in India from 10 states: Health Ministry

According to the Union Health Ministry, 24,498 coronavirus cases and 553 deaths were reported in India in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate in Delhi stands at 79.98%. As per the ministry's data, 86% of active cases in the country are limited to 10 states in the country and 50% of these cases are from Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu while 36% are from the rest of 8 states. The national recovery rate is 63%.
