After challenging CAA, Indian Muslim League moves SC to stay population register project

Indian Union Muslim League, the Kerala-based group that was the first to move the Supreme Court to challenge the validity of the Citizenship Amendment Act, has once again approached the apex court to ask the judges to stop the government from implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Population Register, or NPR. The IUML filed 2 applications in the court seeking clarification on NRC from the government.
