Coronavirus: Tamil Nadu extends lockdown till April 30, becomes 5th state to do so

Following the extension of lockdown by states like West Punjab and Odisha, Tamil Nadu has also announced the extension of the lockdown in the state in the wake of the novel coronavirus. Maximum number of cases of the disease in the state are related to the Nizamuddin Markaz event that happened in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to announce the nationwide extension of the lockdown tomorrow.
