Delhi Police gets clean chit from Delhi Police over JNU violence in January

The Delhi Police has given itself a clean chit in connection with the violence that happened inside the JNU campus on January 5 this year. The Delhi Police had set up a fact-finding committee to investigate the matter. A CCTV footage showed a group of over 100 masked persons armed with iron rods and sticks entering the university campus and injuring teachers, students and staff. As many as 36 people were injured in the incident.
