Delhi-NCR witnessed 13 mild earthquakes in 2020: Earth Sciences ministry

The Delhi-NCR region once again witnessed the tremors of an earthquake yesterday. According to the ministry of earth sciences, as many as 964 earthquakes of magnitude 3 and above were recorded in the country in 2020. Out of the 964 earthquakes, 13 mild earthquakes were recorded in Delhi-NCR and nearby areas. Dr. Harshh Vardhan had recently informed the parliament that a pilot study on earthquake early-warning system may be started.
