World Health Organisation Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus took to Twitter to Praise India for its fight against the novel coronavirus and thank PM Modi for “strong commitment” towards an effective coronavirus vaccine. "I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his strong commitment to COVAX and making COVID-19 vaccines available globally," Ghebreyesus wrote in a tweet in Hindi. He also talked to the PM on phone.
