Free health insurance scheme for 15 lakh J&K families announced by government

In a major step to win the trust of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir, the government of the erstwhile state has announced the Jammu and Kashmir Health Scheme in which the administration will provide a universal health insurance coverage to all the residents of the Union Territory. The scheme will be implemented in convergence with Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and cover 15 lakh families.
