Deepak Dahiya, the Delhi Police officer, who was facing and trying to reason with the gun-wielding man in the violence-hit Jaffrabad-Maujpur area said, while the man told him that he would shoot him, he felt it was his job as a policeman to save others. "The moment he came towards me I stopped him and told him that it should not injure anyone. He was telling me I will shoot you," Deepak narrated the incident.
