In a first, Delhi-Mumbai expressway to have five 'Animal Bridges'

For the first time in India, the National Highways Authority of India is going to build five animal overpasses. This is being done to provide the animals with safe passage and reduce human-animal conflict on the highways. The first of the five animal overpasses will come up soon at the under-construction Delhi-Mumbai greenfield expressway. The overpasses will keep the Ranthambore Wildlife Corridor disturbance-free.
