India's SAARC Covid-19 initiative earns praise from US

US Defence Secretary Mark Esper on Friday held a telephonic conversation with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the SAARC initiative that was started by India under PM Modi. The two leaders also discussed bilateral defense priorities, including the ongoing regional cooperation during the phone call. Esper had postponed his visit to India earlier this month in the wake of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.
