The Delhi Police refuted the rumours where several people in social media claimed that the viral man in civil uniform who was spotted raining blows on a male protestor was a BJP member. Some also said the man was an RSS member. A senior Police official clarified that the man in civil uniform was a constable of the South-East district police, who was attached with a team of detectives at the district’s Anti Auto Theft Squad.
