Meet the 92-year-old lawyer who defended Lord Rama in the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court gave its verdict in the favour of Ram Lala in the historic and disputed Ayodhya land case. The lawyer who defended Lord Rama in the Supreme Court is 92-year-old Advocate K. Parasaran. Parasaran argued Ram Janmabhoomi is "self-manifested deity" and asserted that "an idol is not necessary in Hinduism for the performance of worship." He also served as the Advocate-General of Tamil Nadu during President's rule in 1976.
