Modi government preparing legislation to allow Yale and Oxford to open campuses in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to transform the education sector in India by attracting nearly 750,000 students who spend about $15 billion each year pursuing degrees overseas. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that Modi government is working on a bill which will allow the operation of foreign university campuses including Oxford and Yale in India upon approval from the parliament.
