No stay on Central Vista Project, Delhi High Court fines petitioners Rs. 1 lakh

The Delhi High Court today dismissed the petition that sought a stay on the Central Vista project. The bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh imposed a fine worth Rs. 1 lakh on petitioners while adding that their petition is not bona fide. The court said Central Vista "is an essential project of national importance." The court added that all Covid protocols are being adhered to at the construction site.
