PIB takes down "personal tweet" from its handle, says it "deeply regrets" the error

The Press Information Bureau on Sunday expressed regret over a "personal" tweet posted by one of the members of its social media team. The member had expressed her views on the ongoing clash between the Delhi Police and the protestors in Jamia. "I can't let my alma mater bleed. Stop violence against students," the tweet read. The PIB not only took down the tweet but it said it has taken suitable action against the person.
