Republic day parade to have smaller marching contingents, fewer spectators amid Covid outbreak

This year's Republic Day parade is going to be completely different from the rest of the years due to the Covid situation and the guidelines in place to counter the outbreak. This year's parade will have smaller marching contingents and the duration will be shorter as well. A fewer number of spectators will be allowed to attend the event to ensure social distancing norms. UK PM Boris Johnson will be present during the event.
