Rs 446.52 crore spent on foreign visits of PM Modi in last five year: MEA

An expenditure of Rs 446.52 crore has been spent on the foreign visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last five years, the Ministry of External Affairs said today. While responding to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said the expenditure includes the cost of chartered flights. In 2019-20, a cost of Rs 46.23 crore has been spent on the prime minister's foreign visits.
