Switch off lights only, not TVs, ACs, etc: Power ministry on PM's 9pm 9min appeal

The Power ministry has clarified that PM Modi appealed to switch off lights only between 9:00 to 9:09 pm on Sunday and it doesn't mean switching off street lights or other home appliances. It further cleared that lights in hospitals and all other essential services will remain on. The street lights will be kept on for public safety. The ministry also said that the Indian electricity grid is robust & stable.
