UN High Commissioner for Human Rights moves SC against CAA

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has filed an Intervention Application in the Supreme Court of India over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. India’s Permanent Mission in Geneva was informed on Monday evening by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights that her Office had filed an Intervention Application in the Supreme Court. Reacting to it, India asserted that it was completely an “internal matter”.
