With highest single day surge of 11, 455 cases, COVID-19 toll in India crosses 3 lakh mark, death toll nears 9,000

With a highest single day surge of 11,455 cases in the past 24 hours, the count of coronavirus cases in Delhi has reached 3,08,993. The death toll now stands at 8,884. As many as 1,54,330 people have been cured/discharged. The active cases toll stands at 1,45,779. More than 4,25,000 people have died due to Covid-19 globally. In India, Delhi and Maharashtra have been worst affected by the pandemic.
