New Direct Tax Law might be introduced

Indian Income Tax Act is getting redrafted as the government wants to bring some changes in it, keeping in mind the present economic situation and requirements. In September, during the tax officer’s conference, Narendra Modi has observed that the Income-tax law is more than 50 years old and following that a task force has been set to work on the new Direct Tax Laws. The draft will be ready in next six months.
