Alka Lamba leaves Aam Aadmi Party to join Congress

Alka Lamba, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Chandni Chowk has finally left the party after a long-running feud to join her parent party Congress. The rift between Alka and AAP came into light after the party decided to pass a resolution to revoke Rajiv Gandhi’s Bharat Ratna and she expressed her disagreement on Twitter. She formally joined Congress on Saturday in presence of Delhi unit in-charge PC Chacko at Congress HQ.
