Brazilian President writes to PM Modi to expedite shipment of COVID-19 vaccine

Amid the delay in the arrival of the coronavirus vaccines in Brazil, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has written to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him to expedite a shipment of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine. The letter was released by Bolsonaro's press office amid the growing demands in the country to speed up the vaccination process. He requested PM Modi to supply 2 million doses "with the possible urgency."
