Guarantee on no change in demography of Jammu & Kashmir is Pakistan's condition for better ties with India

Days after Pakistan officials expressed their willingness to improve ties with India, the Islamic republic has conveyed to India that a guarantee of not changing the demography of Jammu & Kashmir will be necessary for improving the ties. During the back channel talks between India and Pakistan, Pakistani officials have also pointed at the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir by the Modi government.
