Indo-Pacific holds tremendous promise: State Department ahead of PM Modi Joe Biden meeting

US President Joe Biden is set to talk with PM Narendra Modi and the leaders of Japan and Australia at the first-ever QUAD meeting. Ahead of the first-ever virtual summit of QUAD leaders on March 12, US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said the Indo-Pacific region "holds tremendous promise for the United States, also tremendous challenge." He further asserted that the US wants to deepen the engagement in the region.
