New route to Vaishno Devi inaugurated by Modi

In an event in Jammu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and other members of the J&K Cabinet inaugurated a new, 7 km route to the shrine named Tarakota Marg. He also said a ropeway would be built by the shrine board to ferry the pilgrims which would be built at a cost of Rs. 60 crore. The track offers restaurants and washrooms equipped to help the elderly and the disabled.
