RTI revealed Rajan sent Modi bank defaulters list in 2015, govt failed to act on it

The Wire recently made an RTI request and the response shows that former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan had notified Narendra Modi about the bank defaulters in 2015 but the govt failed to take any action on it. Rajan's letter was made public once and media thought it was sent to former PM Manmohan Singh. However, the 17-pages long note was addressed to PM Modi. More information was refused to The Wire citing confidentiality.
