US efforts to develop a two-pronged approach to relieve Indo-Pak tensions over Kashmir

On Friday the Trump administration said it was preparing a plan to relieve tensions between Pakistan and India after the government of Narendra Modi scrapped Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which gave Jammu and Kashmir a unique status. The first strategy to pressurize Pakistan not to provide financial support to terrorism while the second strategy is to encourage India to bring peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
