Road Transport and Highways ministry planning to build e-highway on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has confirmed that the government is going to build a separate 'e-highway' on the 1,300-kilometre-long Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The Union Minister said during question hour in Lok Sabha that trucks and buses will be able to use the e-highway and run at a speed of 120 km per hour. The e-highway is aimed at bringing down logistics costs across the country by 70 percent.
