Doubting the capability of Indians, Anupam Kher during a press conference asked why great films on India are being made only by foreigners. He thanked Australian director Anthony Maras for making a film like 'Hotel Mumbai' based on Mumbai terror attacks. He also takes dig at Ram Gopal Varma without naming him saying Somebody had made a film on it (Mumbai attacks), but it was atrocious. 'Hotel Mumbai' is Kher's 501st film.
