UN ‘Champion of the Earth’ award goes to Indian PM Narendra Modi

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received the UN ‘Champion of the Earth’ award today. The UN’s Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the PM knows and understands that the climate change is a threat to us, other leaders too understand this but the only difference is he acts as well. PM Modi said that this honor is a promise to the 100 million people of India for the safety of the environment.
