PM Modi plants Cypress tree sapling at historic Simtokha Dzong in Bhutan

On his visit to Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a Cypress tree sapling at the historic Simtoka Dzong on Saturday in the presence of his Bhutanese counterpart Lotay Tshering, The historic Dzong is one of the oldest fortresses in the Himalayan nation, which functions as a monastic and administrative center. The PM also interacted with monks present at the Dzong after launching various projects with the nation.
