To succeed Anupam Kher, FTII appoints BP Singh as new president

The producer-director of the famous crime show 'CID', Brijendra Pal Singh, on Thursday, has been appointed as the new president of the Film and Television Institute of India and the chairman of its governing council by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Anupam Kher has resigned from his post of chairman in October siting some 'international commitments'. Singh is presently the VC of the FTII governing council.
