1st time in 10 months, retail inflation met RBI's mid-term target of 4%

India’s retail inflation fell to its 10 months low i.e 3.69% in August due to cheaper food items. This data was released by the statistics office today. The retail inflation for the month of July stood at 4.17%. After October 2017 this is the first time the retail inflation has met RBI's mid-term target of 4%.
