2 people including a 5-year-old kid, were killed as Islamic extremists opened fire on a UN aid helicopter in northeastern Nigeria over the weekend. President Muhammadu Buhari blamed the extremist group Boko Haram, saying the jihadists "would not go without severe consequences." However, any extremist group is yet to claim responsibility for the attack. President Buhari said that the attack shows the desperation of Boko Haram.
