28 accused in Palghar lynching case get bail after police fail to file chargesheet on time

28 accused is the Palghar lynching case were granted bail by the Dahanu sessions court after police failed to file the chargesheet within the stipulated 90 days. 10 of the 28 accused can walk back home while the rest of them will remain imprisoned as they are accused in another case. Two saints- Chikne Maharaj Kalpvirkshagiri (70) and Sushilgiri Maharaj (35) and their driver Nilesh Telgade were killed in the lynching.
