Paraguay investigates mass prison escape in Pedro Juan Caballero

75 prisoners escaped from the Pedro Juan Caballero jail in eastern Paraguay close to the border with Brazil. Authorities suspect jail guards helped many of them to just walk free through the main gate. A tunnel has also been found which suggests it could be a cover-up for the shocking escape. Dozens of those who escaped are from Brazil's largest organized criminal gang, the notorious First Command of the Capital.
