On Sunday, a group of mobs attacked 68-year-old Shaukat Ali for selling buffalo meat in his shop and forced him to eat pork in Biswanath Chariali area of Biswanath district, Assam. Ali said that the managers of the market told him that mobs have warned to not to sell buffalo meat. "They beat me. Fine. But why they forced me to eat pork?" Ali said. "If my Ali was wrong they could have called police," said Ali's brother.
