NIA files supplementary chargesheet against al-Qaeda operative over terror activities

The National Intelligence Agency today filed a supplementary charge sheet against an alleged operative of the al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent. The al-Qaeda operative was held over his involvement in aiding the terror group in expanding its presence in India. The operative has been identified as Abu Sufiyan of West Bengal's Murshidabad. He has been charged under sections of the Explosives Substance Act.
