In a bizarre incident, 10 pairs of shoes and sandals worth Rs 76,000 went missing from Abdul Hafiz's home who is a businessman and a resident of Diwan Bahadur Shanmugam street in Kilpauk. Hafiz approached the police with a complaint that 10 pairs of footwear -- both shoes and sandals -- were missing from his house. He walked into the house around 9.30 am and noticed that his chappals and shoes were missing around 10.30 am.
