Former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar convicted in minor rape case

Former Bhartiya Janta Party MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been found guilty of rape and intimidation of the minor in the case of kidnapping and rape of a woman in Unnao in 2017. Delhi's Tis Hazari court convicted Sengar in the case while it acquited another accused Shashi Singh. The sentencing will take place on December 19. The Unnao woman was allegedly kidnapped and raped by Sengar in 2017 when she was a minor.
