Girl attacks 23-year-old boyfriend with acid ‘for refusing to marry her’, man suffers severe burns

A 23-year-old man was attacked with acid by his girlfriend near a school in Haryana’s Hisar on Friday. The man identified as Shubham suffered severe burns after the attack. He lodged a complaint against the accused, identified as Manisha, after which she was arrested by the police. According to the complainant, Manisha, the daughter of one of his distant relatives, threw acid on him after he refused to marry her.
