Gunman who opened fire at Christmas concert in New York, shot dead by police

A gunman who opened fire from the steps of New York City's Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine after a Christman concert, was shot down by New York City Police. According to New York City Police Department spokesman Sergeant Edward Riley, the gunman had fired on police and got shot in retaliatory action. Luckily, no officers or bystanders were injured in the incident. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed.
