A Haryana-based cricket bookie was taken into police custody in relation to an old Karnataka Premier League (KPL) betting case. A local court remanded Sayyam to 9 days’ police custody due to his role in the J.P. Nagar case of a KPL betting scam. Meanwhile, Two cricketers accused of receiving money in the Karnataka Premier League betting case were also remanded to seven-day police custody for further interrogation.
